The owner of a lonely heart could soon be the owner of a sick heart. More than a hundred scientific studies have proven that loneliness is equivalent to smoking about a pack of cigarettes a day and that, we know, can lead to heart disease. Loneliness can be a stronger predictor of early death than obesity or a sedentary life style.
Usually when a person says s/he is an owner of a lonely heart that person is freshly out of a relationship.
If you have just broken up with someone, realize that the feeling of
loneliness will pass as soon as you find yourself in another
relationship. You just need time to gather yourself. Those feelings can even be mitigated simply by finding new friends.
A small percentage of people who make that statement, are suffering from chronic loneliness. A person is suffering from chronic loneliness is at a high risk of suffering the health consequences of loneliness.
Be aware of that and consciously turn your thought process to a positive thought process. You are going to need a positive thought process to weather the experiences you will have as you work to overcome your loneliness and become an owner of friendly heart.
