Grief support groups are very useful
when you have suffered a loss and are grieving. Please accept my
condolences for that which caused your grief. You might be feeling
as if you are all alone in a tunnel of grief with no one able to
understand your state of mind. If you wish to experience all stages
of your grief by yourself, I guess you are free to do so. However it
is a very lonely path.

who will listen to you in your grief. Not every one has that kind of
support. If you were lonely to begin with or if you built no social
connections other than your main intimate connection, you are faced
with grief and loneliness.

draw on. The first thing to do is to get knowledgeable about grief
and its stages. A good resource for that is the Grief Website . That website will inform you about the five stages of
grief and provide other useful information about it.

groups. Before I point out some support groups let me tell you how to
find support groups yourself. Search for the support
group that is right for you. Form the search term as 'your loss +
support groups', type the search term into the Google search bar and
click on Search or press the enter key. Then scan the search results
to find the group that can support you.

...suffered loss of a spouse,
search for 'loss of spouse support groups'. Then scan the search
results for one that will tell you about such a support group.

that website you will see that there are several different types of such support groups you can join.
When you search in Google for Widows
support groups, you see the dailystrength.org/c/Widows-Widowers/support-group and the Young Widow website.
As another example, search for 'child
loss support groups' and you will find compassionatefriends.org/home.aspx .

best position to find the proper grief support group for yourself.
